With more than 40 years of business experience, Erwin is specialized in business setup, business development and company management; he has been successful in the turn around and management of distressed companies or their departments.


Erwin’s has built his experience across a wide range of industries, with particular emphasis in the Hospital Automation, Library and Newspaper Automation, Industrial Automation, Process Plant Automation, Computer Networks and Manufacturing.

Global functions were held in Europe, Middle East, North America, Japan and Malaysia


Companies Erwin held senior positions:

ARSYCOM (the Netherlands) specialized in the design, installation, maintenance and repair of systems for Newspaper and Library Automation, Auction- and Hospital Automation. Erwin was responsible for the implementation of Computerized Typesetting Systems for John Fairfax Newspapers in Australia, Nieuwsblad van het Noorden, Koninklijke Wegener NV and Elsevier in the Netherlands. His Business Unit was instrumental in the automation of Hospital information systems of University Hospitals in the Netherlands.

Upon acquisition by Hoogovens Automation Systems (HAS), a subsidiary of Koninklijke Nederlandsche Hoogovens en Staalfabrieken (KNHS) Erwin integrated the Business Automation solutions of ARSYCOM with the Industrial Automation expertise of KNHS.

Erwin incorporated DEXUPPORT in Belgium as a 100% owned subsidiary of HAS to market Technologies developed in the Netherlands in the field of System Integration of then famous computer hardware brands, like DIGITAL EQUIPMENT, TANDEM, SRATUS, CDC, HEWLETT PACKARD, SEAGATE, SUN MICROSYSTEMS, AMPEX and PLESSEY.


In 1993 Erwin joined Foxboro Systems, a.k.a. Schneider Electric, as their European Systems Support Director. Foxboro is arguably the best-known Solution Integrated Company in the Process Plant Automation.

Erwin oversaw the design- and maintenance support of Foxboro’s European Support Centers in the Netherlands, Germany, Australia, France, Italy, Great Britain and Saudi Arabia. Before the turn of the 21st century Erwin became commercially and technically responsible for the redesign of traditional Foxboro Process Automation Systems to become Millennium Compliant.


In 1998 Erwin joined Cisco Systems in Belgium as their Critical Accounts Manager for EMEA and was responsible for 200 major accounts until 2002 when he went to Japan to oversee the integration of Fujitsu Networks and CISCO to expand Cisco’s presence in the Japanese market. Upon his return to Brussels in 2005 Erwin managed several global projects, one of the most profound and commercially significant was the implementation of serial number entitlement (for service) of each and every piece of Cisco Hardware installed in the field.

In 2009 Erwin successfully oversaw the expansion of Cisco’s Technical Escalation Center in Amman (Jordan) from 20 to 80 engineers, incl. training centers and labs to support Cisco’s Global Integration Partners 24x7.


In 2010 Erwin incorporated the Malaysian Manufacturing plant for HQ Pack, a Dutch owned High Tech company for the design and manufacturing of Cleanroom Packaging and Tooling for Semiconductor Equipment.


In 2017 Erwin joined John Benoist Hong Kong based Delta Resources Ltd
