Judy Curran

Providing business-consulting services since 2002, Judy specializes in Healthcare, Nutritional Supplement and Cosmetic Industries with a focus on sales and marketing, new product development, operations optimization, owner coaching, and turnarounds.  

Judy benefits from a rich history of collaboration in the development of four multi-million dollar companies.  

As founder and COO of Code Rite, her company was recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in the US for pioneering the development, design and implementation of six complex software systems for Emergency Physicians across the nation.  She has managed staff as large as 500 and sales forces of over 50 representatives. She was involved in the development of several anti-aging skin care products, and nutritional supplements.  She has assisted companies in redesigning and refocusing their sales and marketing efforts.  Her successful initiatives encompassed marketing and sales systems, strategic market penetration programs, brochures and collateral material, trade show image changes, telemarketing projects, sales videos and web development.  Judy has successfully orchestrated several corporate and branch turnarounds.  

Judy’s Clientele includes healthcare, nutritional supplement companies, skin care manufacturers, laboratories, and home builders.  These include Stanford University Medical Center, Parkland, Northwestern University Medical Center, Darja Laboratories, Sabino Hair, Tikkit, La Bella Donna.

Prior to Delta Resources she founded a multi-million dollar medical software business (Code Rite) that specialized in designing and operating coding, documentation and transcription software.  She was a partner and acted as Senior VP and COO.  She sold after 8 years of operation, at that time she managed a staff of 135.  She was on advisory boards for the American College of Emergency Medicine, a member of the board of directors for a large home care company, and a contributing author for several industry magazines and newsletters. 

Senior Vice President for 4 years, involved in the start-up of Medicode a medical billing and coding corporation.  She was the Administer of Olsten Health Care and managed a nursing staff of 500.  She won the corporate turnaround award when she improved her branch performance from the second poorest in the corporation to the second highest performing in the organization within her 2 year tenure.  She also won the corporate manager of year award and many corporate performance awards.

Judy worked as regional manager for UHI Corporation and helped to build that business from a start-up to a $40 million corporation in 4 years.  She wrote the national sales training manual, participated in the design of a marketing video and designed and implemented a study that won the company national Medicare approval for their product the Clinitron, a burn therapy.

As a nurse she was the founder and director of one of the largest Hospice programs in Southern California and was the Chairman for the state Hospice Education Committee.  She worked for an HMO as the director of a 40 physician clinic and minor emergency center and was promoted to assistant to the corporate Medical Director.  Her clinical experience includes operating room nurse, orthopedics, critical care and emergency medicine.
