Mr. Benoist established Delta Resources Management Hong Kong Ltd. joining the Delta Resources Global Network.
Current customers are Levitech BV in Holland a manufacturer of RTP systems and the Malaysia Dutch Business Council as part of the Netherlands Embassy in Malaysia. Mr. Benoist's career spans 38-years in the Semiconductor Equipment Industry with 15-years benefiting ASMI.
ASMI initially posted Mr. Benoist to Korea for the purpose of reestablishing a Korean presence for ASM. After only four years, John organized a strong sales and service group, and ASM Korea found itself running strong with revenues totaling 30 million USD.
Mr. Benoist did the same for ASMI in Singapore and mainland China whilst moving the Hong Kong operations to Shanghai and managing the SE Asia Ops.
In 2004 Mr. Benoist began initial transfer of the Diffusion Furnaces Ops based in the Netherlands to Singapore. Today most and soon all Manufacturing Opertions will be based in Singapore as the sole Production base.
Prior ASMI experience includes Europe and Asia sites for the General Signal SEG Group working with the Ultratech Stepper European Operations.
After consolidating the various Semiconductor Entities in Ferney Voltaire France across the Geneva border, and performing the same task in Hong Kong, he used his skills and experience to facilitate a management buy-out of the Tempress Manufacturing site in Holland.
Prior to General Signal he was instrumental in the birth of Matrix Integrated Systems with Ted Callagher establishing the International Operations. He was the first as European General Manager at the Perkin Elmer Corporation and subsequently was Director of International Sales and Service based in Connecticut.
Mr. Benoist began his career in Semiconductors with GAF Corporation as European Sales Manager for Photomasks and Chemicals.
